Robert Dickens

Robert Dickens is a Lead Application Engineer at ANSYS, Inc., bringing twenty years of experience in the electronics packaging field, particularly in RF, digital, and optical products for military markets. Previously, Robert served as a Staff Engineer at General Dynamics Robotic Systems and DRS Signal Solutions, where responsibilities included thermal architecture for autonomous systems and oversight of new product designs. With a strong background in project and product success, Robert's expertise extends to mechanical design, heat transfer, and structural analysis. They hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Maryland and Virginia Tech, respectively.
