Ryan Schultz is an ASIC DV Manager at Synopsys, specializing in next-generation high-speed PAM4 SERDES PHY IP. They have a strong background as a staff ASIC design verification engineer, with expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and various stages of ASIC verification. Prior to their current role, Ryan held multiple positions within Synopsys, contributing to significant advancements in verification environments and achieving first-pass silicon success. Ryan also gained valuable experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at MDA, collaborating on projects for the European Space Agency’s ExoMars rover. They earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster University, graduating with a GPA of 3.9/4.0.
