Sam Abdollahi

Sam Abdollahi, Ph.D., is a photonic engineer with several years of experience in the design, analysis, simulation, and testing of active and passive photonic integrated circuit components. They currently serve as a Staff Analog Design Engineer at Synopsys Inc. and have held notable positions at Lorentz Solution, Inc., Ciena, and AIRY3D, among others. Sam has also contributed to academia as a sessional lecturer at Global Innovative Campus and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Université Laval. They hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
