Scott Guo is a highly experienced scientist and engineer with a robust background in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Scientist at Synopsys Inc since June 2017, Scott designed and implemented the dynamic scheduler of the USB3.2 host controller. Prior to this role, Scott held positions at Marvell Semiconductor as Director of Engineering, where a USB3 IP design team was built, and at Telegent Systems, where management of an audio and video systems team and the architecture of a mobile TV receiver's SoC occurred. Previous experience includes serving as an IC Architect at Philips Semiconductors, focusing on a range of digital processing projects, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, specializing in high-performance design techniques for audio and video processing. Scott holds a PhD and D.Phil in Computer Science from Oxford University and earned a BEE and MEE from UESTC.
