Scott McClennan

Scott McClennan is currently the R&D Director at Synopsys, specializing in multiphysics numerical analysis and HPC. Previously, they served as the Director of R&D at Ansys, leading the development of cloud-based multiphysics solvers, and held various roles including Chief Technologist at PZFlex and OnScale. Scott's career began at Weidlinger Associates, Inc., where they worked as a Senior Research Engineer and Project Engineer. They earned a Master of Applied Science from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
