Simão Araújo

Simão Araújo is currently an ASIC Digital Design, Staff Engineer at Synopsys Inc, a role they began in 2025. Previously, they served as a Sr Engineer at Synopsys Inc from 2022 to 2025 and completed a Software Developer Summer Internship at Accenture in 2019. Simão also worked as a researcher at Universidade do Minho between 2020 and 2021, where they contributed to the Sensible Car project and authored a conference paper on a novel FPGA-based TDC. They hold an Integrated Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade do Minho, completed in 2022.
