Sónia Gonçalves

Sónia Gonçalves is a seasoned ASIC Digital Design Engineer and currently serves as the Director of the SERDES Solutions Group at Synopsys Portugal Lda, a role they hold at Synopsys Inc. With extensive experience in various technical roles, Sónia's career includes positions such as System Engineer at MIPS Technologies and multiple engineering and managerial roles at Synopsys Inc since 2020. They began their professional journey as a Trainee at Recorders and Medicare Systems in India in 2006, following the completion of a Licenciatura in Telecommunications and Electronics from Universidade do Algarve in 2006. Throughout their career, Sónia has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancements in digital design and systems engineering.
