Steve Taylor

Steve Taylor is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as the Product Engineering Manager for the DDR PHY Group at Synopsys since October 2014. With a strong background in engineering management, Taylor has previously held senior positions including Director of Engineering at Sidense and various managerial roles at Sigma Designs and Gennum, where notable achievements included managing complex multi-site chip design projects and developing a mixed signal design environment. Taylor’s expertise extends across multiple organizations such as PMC-Sierra, Extreme Packet Devices, Nortel Networks, and Bell Northern Research, where contributions included leading design teams, overseeing product validation, and fostering customer support initiatives. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo, obtained in 1986.
