Subodh Gupta

Subodh Gupta is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in software development and management. Currently serving as Executive Director of Engineering at Synopsys Inc since March 2018, Subodh leads a team focused on distributed analysis for industry-leading sign-off tools. Prior experience includes roles as Software Engineering Manager/Director at Intel Corporation, where management of a team of approximately 50 engineers centered around device modeling for Altera’s Quartus II tool, and Senior Software Engineering Manager at Xilinx, overseeing the development of design automation tools for FPGAs. Earlier positions involved significant contributions to Synopsys's PrimePower tool and optimizations for Cadence’s First Encounter product. Subodh holds a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
