Timothy Artz

Timothy Artz, PhD, is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in finite element analysis and composites. They have held roles such as Senior Application Engineer at Synopsys Inc since 2023 and previously worked as Process Modeling Lead at Yummet from 2022 to 2023. Timothy contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University from 2017 to 2019 while also serving as a Presidential Fellow. They earned a PhD in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University and hold an M.S. in Structural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they also completed a B.S. in Architectural Engineering. Timothy has extensive experience in project engineering from their time at Altair Engineering and as an intern at Milwaukee Brewing Company.
