Tom de Schutter

Tom De Schutter serves as Vice President of Product Management and System Solutions at Synopsys Inc since March 2010, overseeing emulation and prototyping solutions as part of the Synopsys Verification Continuum. With a strong emphasis on innovation, Tom has played a crucial role in the development of the Synopsys ZeBu Server, the fastest emulation system in the industry, and the integrated HAPS prototyping solution that enables high productivity for software development and hardware/software validation. Previous positions at Synopsys include Senior Director of Product Marketing and Business Development, where responsibilities included driving virtual prototyping solutions to expedite the development cycle for electronics companies. Prior to Synopsys, Tom held various marketing and engineering roles at CoWare from August 2000 to March 2010, focusing on IP models and integration. Tom holds a master's degree in Engineering (Micro-Electronics) from KU Leuven, earned between 1995 and 2000.
