Vinay Carpenter

Vinay Carpenter is an experienced CAE professional with over eleven years in virtual prototyping, specializing in finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). With a strong background in solving engineering problems across diverse industries, including biomechanics, medical devices, and automotive, Vinay has led and mentored engineering simulation teams for eight years. Currently serving as Manager of Professional Services at Synopsys Inc since 2025, Vinay previously held various positions at Ansys, where they achieved significant correlations between simulations and experimental findings. Vinay holds an M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
