Wade Smith

Wade Smith is an experienced engineering professional specializing in high-frequency electromagnetics, signal integrity, RF, antennas, and electromagnetic analysis. Currently serving as the Director of North America High Frequency Electromagnetics Application Engineering at Synopsys Inc since July 2025, Wade previously held similar leadership roles at Ansys from August 2011 to July 2025, where responsibilities included enhancing customer productivity with application engineering tools. Wade's engineering career includes roles at Sciperio, Inc. as an RF/Electrical Engineer IV, at Harris Corporation as an RF/Electrical Engineer III, and academic research at the University of Central Florida. Wade holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an AA in Physics and Mathematics from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
