Xinbo Li

Xinbo Li is a Staff R&D Engineer at Synopsys and a PhD student in their third year at the University of Manitoba, where they focus on developing an efficient integral equation-based electromagnetic solver for layered media. They have successfully implemented a novel approach to evaluating Green's functions using the Spectral Differential Equation Approximation Method (SDEAM) and are proficient in Matlab and C/C++. Previously, they held interim roles as a Quantum Software Developer at AlgoLab and an Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, while also serving as an R&D Engineering Intern at Cadence. Xinbo holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Tongji University and the University of Manitoba, respectively.
