Mark Richman has worked in the medical field since 2003. Mark began their career at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center as an Internal Medicine Physician, Primary Care Director, Medical Director for Managed Care, Medical Director for Employee Health Services, Emergency Medicine Physician, Physician Champion, Medicaid 1115 Waiver, Assistant Medical Director, Clinical Information Technology Officer, Patient Safety Officer, Performance Improvement Officer, and Physician Innovator, Clinical Resource Management. In 2006, they became an Associate Professor of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Chief Clinical Officer at Synova Life Sciences. Mark is currently an Emergency Physician at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center Dept. of Emergency Medicine.
Mark Richman began their educational journey at Stanford University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters between the years of 1988 and 1991. Mark then attended UCSF, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 1997. From 1997 to 2000, they completed an Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Emory University. In 2000, they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from The Johns Hopkins University in the field of International Health. Lastly, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
