Laura Nail

Laura Nail is Vice President, Program Development. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with nearly two decades of nursing experience. Her background includes family practice, cardiology, and chronic pain management. Since joining Vigilant Health in 2015, Ms. Nail has been named the Vice President of Clinical Operations and has helped develop the Nurse Practitioner Navigator role, a role specific and central to the success of the company. The Nurse Practitioner Navigator provides high-quality care as well as direct communication to patients regarding their health and navigation of the health care system. This combination of open communication and outstanding care has been proven to enhance overall health of the patient and decrease health care costs to the client. Ms. Nail’s role is to ensure standardization of practice through training and building close relationships with the Nurse Practitioner Navigator at each location.

Ms. Nail received her BSN from Mississippi College and MSN from University of South Alabama. She enjoys endurance sports and has completed four full marathons and multiple triathlons over the years, including four half ironman distance triathlons.
