Chad Lopes

Chad Lopes is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic development, and operations. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance at Synovus since November 2021, Chad manages teams focused on Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, and Enterprise Strategy. Previously, Chad held the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Development at Regions Bank, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, fintech equity investments, and corporate partnerships. Additionally, Chad was President and COO at MAG CAP, strategic planner at Regions Bank, and an associate at Lincoln International. Chad holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Christian Brothers University.
