Katherine Mears is a highly experienced marketing professional currently serving as Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Communications at Synovus since November 2022. With a robust background in brand and content marketing, Katherine previously held various senior leadership roles at Regions Bank from March 2007 to November 2022, including SVP of Brand, Content and Creative Marketing Manager, and multiple vice president positions focusing on content, geography marketing strategy, advertising, and grand opening management. Katherine began their career as a Senior Media Buyer/Account Manager at Moore & Moore Advertising from January 2002 to March 2007. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from The University of Alabama.
