Mary Cotney

Mary (Katie) Cotney is an experienced professional currently serving as the Senior Executive Assistant to the President of Wealth Services at Synovus since October 2020. Prior roles at Synovus include acting as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Presidents of Community Bank and Synovus Mortgage. Prior to this, Katie worked as a Senior Event Manager at Veal Convention Services from January 2015 to October 2020. Earlier experience includes a position as a Receptionist at the University of South Alabama, where responsibilities included managing phone calls, greeting visitors, training new staff, and supporting various office functions. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management from the University of South Alabama, earned in 2014.
