Martin Rau

Martin Rau is a Senior Software Engineer at SynSense, with previous experience as a Senior R&D Software Engineer and R&D Software Engineer at Zurich Instruments. Martin has a strong academic background, having completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at ETH Zürich, where work focused on developing novel numerical models for nanoscale transistor simulation. Prior to this, Martin was a Research Assistant at CEA, specializing in modeling of tunnel-field-effect transistors, and a Software Development Intern at YXLON International, creating applications for X-ray detectors. Martin holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from Grenoble INP - Phelma and completed secondary education at Lycée Kléber and Lycée International des Pontonniers, obtaining the French Baccalauréat and German Abitur.
