Tugba Demirci

Tugba Demirci has extensive experience in the IC design field. Tugba began their career in 2003 as a Senior Design Engineer at Cypress Semiconductor. Tugba then moved to Maxim Integrated Products in 2005 as a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer. In 2006, they joined SpectraLinear, Inc. as a Staff Mixed Signal Design Engineer. In 2011, they were hired by Silicon Laboratories as a Staff Mixed Signal Design Engineer where they lead the timing group in developing various timing products. In 2012, they began working at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) as a Scientific Researcher, where they managed and supervised an analog and digital IC design team with 3 PhD students and more than 10 master students. Tugba was responsible for schedule management, resource allocation, cost estimation, technology selection, identifying and analyzing risks, and resolving technical issues. In 2016, they were hired by ESPROS Photonics Corporation as a Staff Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer (Team Leader). Most recently, in 2019, they joined SynSense as Vice President and IC Design Team Leader.

Tugba Demirci received their BSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University between 1995 and 2000. Tugba then went on to receive their MSc in Electronics Engineering from Sabanci University between 2000 and 2002.
