Jan Otto Solem

Jan Otto Solem is the founder and co-CEO of Syntach. Jan has over 20 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in cardiac surgery. Jan has worked at various hospitals and clinics in Sweden, including the University Hospital of Lund, South Swedisch Cardiac Surgery Center, and Malmoe Central Hospital. In 2000, they became a consultant for Jomed AG, and then later for Synergio AG from 2002 to 2009. In 2010, they founded Syntach AB, which provides services to patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Jan Otto Solem completed a high school education at Valler Gymnasium before going on to study medicine at the University of Bern. Jan then obtained a PhD in autotransfusion from Lund University.
