Tony Veilleux

Tony Veilleux is the current Global CFO at Syntax. Tony has previously worked as Vice President, Finance and Treasury at WSP Global inc., and as CFO Canada at WSP in Canada (previously GENIVAR).

Tony has extensive experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis, and has been responsible for Treasury and credit facilities management at both WSP Global and WSP in Canada. Tony has also overseen the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.

At Syntax, Tony is responsible for leading the financial reporting, planning and analysis team in supporting the Global CEO and CFO, including quarterly financial review to the board and monthly review to the executive committee. Tony is also responsible for Treasury and credit facilities management for the Global entity.

Tony is an agile and hands-on leader, who has added value at a strategic level as a CFO. Tony has built a best-in-class finance organization at WSP in Canada, where they established respect, loyalty and trust throughout the organization. Tony is known for their effective interpersonal skills, which allow him to liaise at every level in an organization without damaging relationships.

Tony Veilleux attended Université Laval / Laval University, where they obtained a Bac in Accounting. Tony then went on to obtain a License in Accounting from the same school.

Tony Veilleux reports to Christian Primeau, Global CEO. Tony Veilleux works with Alexis Burnett - VP, Global Marketing, Michael Etinson - Principal & Founder, and Brian Koh - EVP, Business Development.
