Chris Jones

Chris Jones is the Chairman and CEO of Youtap, a global provider of contactless mobile payments and financial services software.

With experience in founding and managing software companies in the Telecommunications and Financial sectors, he is committed to financial inclusion and has been actively involved in driving projects in developing and emerging markets to supply financial services and mobile applications to the world's 2+ billion unbanked.

In the past 30+ years, his companies have delivered and implemented software platforms in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Jones’ companies, and products have won regional and global recognition. Chris is an advocate of design-build and go to market and innovate from adversity and the need to “just make it happen”.

Chris has acted as an Independent Board Director and Advisor to Start-up and Fastgrow companies. He has been involved in raising capital in both a private and public capacity. He also serves as the Government of Botswana's Honorary Consul to New Zealand.
