M.sc. Evan Horowitz

Evan Horowitz, M.Sc. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Evan is currently the Director of Commercial Strategy at Synthego Corporation, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they had progressively advanced within the company, serving as Associate Director of Commercial Strategy, Associate Director - Account Development, Sr. ADR Manager - Inside Sales, and ADR Manager - Inside Sales. Evan also worked as an Account Specialist at Synthego Corporation.

In addition to their roles at Synthego Corporation, Evan Horowitz worked as an Associate at Revenue Collective, where they completed the Frontline Manager School Graduate program, enhancing their leadership skills. Evan also worked as an Enterprise Sales Development Representative at Confirmit and as a Sales Development Representative at New Relic, Inc.

Earlier in their career, Evan served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Miami University and as a Research and Development Scientist II at Irvine Scientific. Evan had also worked as a QA Senior Microbiology Technician at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP). Overall, Evan's work experience encompasses positions in commercial strategy, sales development, research, and quality assurance in the biotechnology and software industries.

Evan Horowitz, M.Sc. earned their Master's Degree in Cell, Molecular, and Structural Biology from Miami University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology at UC Santa Barbara from 2002 to 2006. In 2019, Evan attended Harvard University for a short course on CRISPR and Gene Editing in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Additionally, Evan has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the "Fundamentals of Sales Management for the Newly Appointed Sales Manager" program offered by the American Management Association. In 2020, they participated in the Sales Development Manager Training Program at Tenbound. Evan also attended the Frontline Manager School at Pavilion and completed the course in October 2021. Most recently, in June 2022, they obtained a certification in "Coaching for High Performance" from Pavilion.
