Puzhou Wang

Puzhou Wang is an accomplished professional in the fields of chemistry and data science, currently serving as the Director of Research and Data at Synthego Corporation since March 2019, leading a team that addresses complex challenges at the intersection of both disciplines. Previous roles at Synthego include Staff Scientist, where Puzhou Wang directed a Data Science team supporting CRISPR therapeutic development and pioneered a Django-based internal platform, and Senior Scientist, who created tools that significantly accelerated RNA synthesis processes. Puzhou Wang's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Complete Genomics Inc., focused on novel sequencing chemistry, and a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a PhD in Chemistry. Education includes a Master of Computer Science in Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Peking University.
