Kai-Wen Huang

Kai-Wen Huang is a Senior Research Associate at Synthekine, specializing in upstream process development with a focus on E. coli fermentation for protein production. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Scientist II at Catalent Pharma Solutions, where expertise was applied in recombinant AAV vector production and media screening for vaccine development. As a Graduate Student Researcher at Johns Hopkins University, contributions were made to optimize lentiviral vector biomanufacturing and nutrient supply for algal growth. Earlier research took place at National Taiwan University, focusing on photo-crosslinked biomaterials for bone tissue repair. Kai-Wen Huang holds a Master of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
