Shabnam (Shae) Ziaee, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Synthekine, having previously held the position of Associate Director of Business Development at Aligos Therapeutics. With a strong background in strategic alliance and business development honed at UCSF Innovation Ventures and Biotech Connection - Bay Area, Inc., Shabnam also contributed as an Associate Consultant at Huron and a Senior Associate at BluePrint Research Group, where extensive market research supported pharmaceutical strategies. Shabnam’s academic foundation includes a PhD in Cancer Biology from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a BS in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, along with notable research experience in cancer biology and tumor microenvironments.
