Josh Baker-Mendoza

Josh Baker-Mendoza is an experienced professional in the field of audiovisual production, currently serving as the Avatar Studio Technical Supervisor at Synthesia since January 2023. In this role, Josh supervises the capture and processing of assets and datasets to create digital humans utilizing generative AI, contributing to the development of advanced content creation tools and the future of media. Prior experience includes working as a self-employed Post Production Supervisor and Freelance VFX Artist since 2011, where Josh has been involved in various indie film, TV, and corporate projects as a VFX Generalist. Additionally, Josh has experience as a Freelance Filmmaker, taking on roles such as director and editor, and previously worked as a Producer at NKM Media from March 2012 to June 2014.
