Yashar Behzadi

Yashar Behzadi is the founder and CEO of Synthesis AI, a specialty consulting firm focused on strategy, product, and core technology development for early-stage companies in the digital health, AI, and med-tech space. Yashar has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Prior to founding Synthesis AI, Yashar was the CEO of Neuromation, a global AI services and technology company. Under Yashar's leadership, Neuromation grew rapidly and was recognized by Gartner as a "Cool Vendor in Core AI Technology." In addition to being featured in TechCrunch and Wired, Neuromation has offices in San Francisco, New York, Tel-Aviv, St Petersburg and Kiev.

Before Neuromation, Yashar was the CPO of Medibio Limited (ASX: MEB), a medical AI company focused on changing the care paradigm in mental illness by leveraging a panel of proprietary biomarkers to more accurately diagnose and better manage mental illness. At Medibio, Yashar led the overall corporate & product strategy, developed the key technology and data science, and drove the clinical, regulatory, quality, and medical workstreams. Base Theory helped the company secure over $25M in financing.

Yashar Behzadi has a PhD in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, an MS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, and a BS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
