Michael Shapiro

Michael Shapiro has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michael started their career as an Account Manager at Internet Solutions in 1997. Michael then worked as a Sales Manager at Miraculum from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, they joined Synthesis Software Technologies (Pty) Ltd as the Director of Business Development until 2012, when they became the Managing Director of the same company. From 2015 to 2019, they served as a Board Director at Proximity ID. In 2019, they joined Capital Appreciation as an Executive Director. In 2020, they began working at Halo Dot as a Strategic Advisor and Executive.

Michael Shapiro attended King David Victory Park from 1986 to 1990 with no specified degree or field of study. Michael then went on to study at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1991 to 1995, earning a B.Sc degree in Engineering (Elec) and a B.Sc (Eng) Elec. in Engineering.
