Tom Wells

Tom Wells has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Tom is currently serving as the Chief Disruption Officer at Synthesis Labs, where they lead a team of technologists focused on emerging and disruptive technologies. Prior to this, they held the same role at Synthesis Software Technologies, where they also served as an Executive Director, leading development projects in areas such as payment card technology and online banking. Tom also worked as a Solutions Architect for the Security Division at Synthesis, designing and implementing electronic security solutions for the Payment Card Industry. Before joining Synthesis, they were a Software Developer at Thales Air Defence, where they worked on projects related to simulation engines and missile simulators. In addition, they served as a Strategic Advisor at Halo Dot.

Tom Wells completed their Matric at Westville Boys' High School from 1992 to 1996. Tom then went on to pursue a BSc (Information Systems) Honours degree in Computer Science from Rhodes University between 1998 and 2001.
