Ivan Ponomarev

Ivan Ponomarev has over 20 years of work experience. Ivan is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Synthesized since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Academic Tutor at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences starting from January 2021.

From 2003 to 2022, Ivan held the position of Associate Professor at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) - MIPT, Phystech. Their responsibilities included delivering lectures and seminars on topics such as axiomatic set theory, Java Core, and Big Data Tools.

From July 2016 to October 2021, Ivan served as a Software Technical Lead at a company governed by a non-disclosure agreement. Between June 2010 and July 2016, they were a Co-Founder of Lancelot.

Ivan also worked as a Development Team Lead at KURS from June 2008 to June 2016. In this role, they were involved in the development and deployment of informational systems in banking and education, utilizing technologies such as Java, Tomcat, GWT, MSSQL/DB2/PostrgreSQL. Ivan was also responsible for the architecture and implementation of the open-source framework called Celesta.

Ivan started their career in 2003 at LANIT, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer, specifically as a Microsoft Dynamics ERP Developer and Senior Developer until June 2010. Prior to that, from October 2000 to June 2003, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at KURS.

Ivan Ponomarev has completed their education in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). Ivan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from 1997 to 2006.
