Josh Hatfield

Josh Hatfield has a diverse work experience in various engineering and management roles. Josh most recently served as the Director of Research and Development at Synthetik Applied Technologies since April 2022. Prior to this position, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at the same company from June 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Synthetik Applied Technologies, Josh was a Senior Engineer at KATERRA from November 2017 to June 2020. Josh also worked as a Development Engineer at Greenroads International from December 2016 to November 2017.

Earlier in their career, Josh served as a Project Engineer at KPFF Consulting Engineers from March 2015 to December 2016, and as an Engineer at Karagozian & Case from March 2013 to March 2015.

In addition, Josh worked as an Instructional Designer at Pavia Systems from December 2010 to August 2011.

Josh Hatfield earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.C.E) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Josh then pursued further education at UC San Diego from 2011 to 2012, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Structural Engineering.
