Felicia Januarlia Novita

Felicia Januarlia Novita, Ph.D., currently serves as a Principal Process Modeling Engineer and Data Scientist at Synthomer since October 2023. In addition, Felicia is a member of the Topical Advisory Panel and serves as a Topic and Guest Editor for special issues on "Design and Optimization in Process Engineering" for the journal "Processes." Previous experience includes roles at Battolyser Systems as a Process Modeling Engineer, focusing on developing a Digital Twin, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, working on cyclic and dynamic multi-column carousel adsorption processes. Felicia also has experience as an Assistant Professor at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, while mentoring students and contributing to various research initiatives. Felicia's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Yeungnam University, along with master's degrees from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, culminating in a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
