Jasmine Thorlby

Jasmine Thorlby has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Jasmine is currently the Head of Reliability and Asset Integrity Europe & Adhesive Solutions Lead Engineer at Synthomer since January 2023. Prior to that, they held roles such as Industrial Specialities Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager at Synthomer. Jasmine also worked as an Interim Site Manager for a brief period. Before joining Synthomer, Jasmine worked as an Engineering Manager at Huntsman from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, they have experience as an Area Manager at Nestle Purina, Engineering Manager at Dairy Crest, Engineering Manager at Sharpak Bridgwater, Site Mechanical Maintenance Manager at Lafarge Gypsum, Engineering Shift Manager at Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd, and Operations Consultant at Zenith International Ltd. Jasmine started their career as a Project Manager - Patent at CEA in 2005.

Jasmine Thorlby obtained a postgraduate degree in Material Science from ESIREM from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they completed an MBA in Innovation Management at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers. Additionally, in the same year, they pursued a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Erlangen Nuremberg, Institute of Polymer Technology (Lehrstul Fur Kunststofftechnik).
