Leon Aan de Meulen

Leon aan de Meulen possesses extensive experience in the chemical industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the PM Product Steward Manager, PCF Compliance Manager, and Senior Regulatory Specialist at Synthomer plc since September 2008, Leon has previously held roles as a regulatory affairs scientist and quality manager. Prior to this, Leon spent over six years at Synthomer as a Technical Service Specialist, and worked for BASF for over twelve years, where responsibilities included Plant Technical Manager and Technical Services Specialist. Leon's expertise encompasses recipe control, quality assurance, raw material approval, chemical engineering, and process optimization, particularly within the carpet industry focusing on latex binders. Leon began the academic journey at TU Eindhoven, earning a degree in polymer chemistry with a specialization in emulsion polymerization.
