Michaela Hofbauer

Michaela Hofbauer currently serves as VP of Innovation and Marketing at Synthomer since April 2022. Prior to this role, Michaela held various positions at Eastman from February 2011 to April 2022, including Director of Technology, Group Leader of Adhesives Technology, and Global Market Leader for both Adhesives and Packaging. Additional experience includes a tenure as Market Development Manager at Eastman Chemical B.V. from September 2007 to February 2011, Laboratory Manager at Eastman Chemical Middelburg from 1999 to 2007, and Senior Chemist at Hercules from 1996 to 2001. Michaela holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Bonn and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati.
