Robin Harrison

Robin Harrison has a diverse work experience in the chemical industry. Robin worked at Synthomer from 2007 to 2011, initially as a R&D Director and later as a Global Innovation Director. In these roles, they were responsible for product innovation and technology development across multiple R&D centers. From 2011 to 2020, they held the position of VP Platform Technology & External Innovation at Synthomer, where they led global efforts to identify and develop new technology platforms for the company through internal and collaborative programs. Additionally, they served as an Elected Member of the Board of Trustees at SCI: Where Science Meets Business from 2017 to 2021, contributing to talent development activities and supporting the application of chemistry in industry for the public benefit. Prior to their time at Synthomer, they were a Technology Group Leader at Arizona Chemical from 2000 to 2007.

Robin Harrison earned a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Sussex in 1990 and went on to complete a PhD in Chemistry at the same institution from 1990 to 1993.
