Simon Palmer

Simon Palmer has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the chemical industry. Simon started their career with Polyethylene Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 1999 as a Business Development Manager, and later became a Compound Product Manager in 2002. Simon then joined Innovene - a subsidiary of BP - in 2005 as a Business Optimisation Manager before moving to INEOS in 2006. At INEOS, Simon worked as a Business Manager for Ammonia/Nitric Acid for 10 years. In 2016, they joined Synthomer as a Business Development Director and eventually became the Global Business Director for Construction in 2019.

Simon Palmer holds a Ph.D in Stabilisation and Degradation of Polyethylene Gas Pipe in Service Applications from Manchester University. Simon also obtained a B.S.c (Hons) in Polymer Science and Technology from the same university.
