Renske Wiegertjes

Renske Wiegertjes is a Regulatory Affairs Project Manager at Synthon. Prior to this role, Renske was a PhD Candidate at Radboudumc, where Renske studied cartilage biology and the pathophysiology of osteoarthritis. Renske also conducted research projects at Københavns Universitet and Radboud University, focusing on the role of galectins in monocytes differentiation and the future of elderly healthcare, respectively. Additionally, Renske has experience as a reviewer for Radboud Annals of Medical Students and as an intern at Radboudumc, where Renske studied the link between innate TNF-α production and disease characteristics in Crohn's disease. Overall, Renske has a strong background in biomedical sciences and a passion for research and academia.
