Leah Randles

Leah Randles has a diverse work experience in the fields of science and technology. Leah currently serves as the Scientific Director at Syntiron since December 2019. Prior to that, they were a Technology Specialist at Fish & Richardson P.C. from August 2018 to December 2019. Leah also worked as a Scientist at Syntiron from June 2016 to August 2018. Leah has a background in research, having served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) from January 2013 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, Leah worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2006 to December 2012 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from February 2004 to August 2006.

Leah Randles has a strong education background in the field of biology and law. Leah earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development from the University of Minnesota in 2006. Leah went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics at the same university from 2006 to 2012.

After completing their doctoral studies, Leah pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Patent Law from the University of Minnesota Law School, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Leah has also obtained certifications in management and leadership/workplace dynamics. Leah completed a Management Bootcamp at the National Institutes of Health: Office of Intramural Training and Education in June 2015. Leah also completed a Leadership/Workplace Dynamics Series program at the same institution in April 2015.
