Zaven Kalayjian

Zaven Kalayjian has over 20 years of professional experience in the engineering industry. From 2021 to present, they have served as Senior Director - Product Manager at Syntonics LLC. From 2016 to 2021, they were Head of Hardware Development, Director of Engineering, and Senior RF Engineer at Department 13. From 2014 to 2016, they were Senior Project Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation. From 2012 to 2014, they were Principal Engineer at Applied Physical Sciences Corp (APS). From 2010 to 2012, they were Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. From 2009 to 2010, they were Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. From 2007 to 2009, they were Co-Founder at Aither LLC and Consultant at DiCad Consulting. From 2005 to 2007, they were CIS Department Adjunct Professor at American University of Armenia. From 2001 to 2005, they were Director of Research Development at Epygi Labs AM LLC.

Zaven Kalayjian obtained their PhD in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 1999, after completing their M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering there in 1993. Zaven obtained their B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
