Mariam Yakan

Mariam’s work is centered around empathy and cultural curiosity. She believes in the power of experience design and conversations in making change.

At SYPartners, Mariam has partnered with leaders and local organizations to craft connections and gatherings, along with creating tools and products that help teams engage with one another.

With 17 years of experience in the UAE, her journey has spanned digital design, strategy, branding and film for various sectors—partnering with foundations and government entities in the UAE focused on arts, culture and heritage, as well as early childhood development.

Outside of SYPartners, Mariam is a singer-songwriter and recently became a published author, writing and illustrating her first children’s book.
