Joseph Grefer

Joseph Grefer has served as the Summer School Principal at Syracuse City School District since December 2000, where responsibilities include developing and coordinating a city-wide transportation plan for students and designing a multi-tiered communication program for families. Prior to this role, Joseph held positions as a Secondary Teacher and Administrative Intern, focusing on student transition procedures, behavioral management, and restorative justice practices. Additionally, Joseph worked as the Dean of Social Sciences at Vanke Meisha Academy from August 2019 to November 2021. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, a Master's of Science in Secondary Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in School Building Leadership and School District Leadership, all from Le Moyne College.
