Michael Puntschenko

Michael Puntschenko is an experienced educational administrator and financial professional, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Syracuse City School District since September 2003. Michael's previous role as Director of Special Programs at Syracuse City School District spanned from 1993 until November 2022. Michael holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration and Supervision from the State University of New York at Oswego, obtained between 1998 and 1999, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution, earned from 1995 to 1997. Michael completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management at St. John Fisher University from 1988 to 1992.
