Scott Lane

Scott Lane has extensive experience in the field of education, serving in various roles within Syracuse City School District since August 2016, including Administrative Substitute, Work Based Learning Coordinator, CTE Summer Internship Coordinator, Special Education Teacher, and Special Education Department Chair. Responsibilities have included collaborating with teachers and counselors to support student needs, overseeing classroom activities, monitoring attendance and special education goals, and providing mentorship to beginning teachers. Prior to the current role, Scott worked as a Special Education Teacher and Teaching Assistant in other school districts, contributing to curriculum development and student support. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Education from Le Moyne College, a Bachelor's in History from Columbia College, and ongoing advanced studies in Educational Leadership at Syracuse University.
