Katie Rivers

Katie Rivers, CPA, currently serves as the Accounting Manager at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists, PC, since August 2023. Prior to this role, Katie held various positions at Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC from January 2019 to August 2023, advancing from Tax Associate to Tax Manager. Experience includes tax preparation, audits of complex financial statements, and working with various entities such as not-for-profits and governments. Katie also completed internships at The Bonadio Group, Gerald P. Dagostino, CPAs, and Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, gaining extensive experience in tax and audit processes. Katie holds a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Siena College and graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School.
