Ana Diaz-Diez

Ana Diaz-Diez is the current Director of Development at Syracuse Stage. Ana has over 25 years of experience in public relations, communications, and marketing.

Ana Diaz-Diez began their career in 1988 as a Media Director at Marti Flores Prieto & Wachtel/MFPW. Ana then served as Senior Communications Advisor as a consultant for the Government of Puerto Rico from 1995-2000. In 2004, they became the VP- Media Department Director at Grupo PuntoAparte. From 2006-2012, Ana worked as Communications and Public Policy Consultant for the Puerto Rico House of Representatives. In 2015, they became Managing Director at Stageworks Theatre, a position they held until 2017. Ana Diaz-Diez is currently the Director of Development at Syracuse Stage.

Ana Diaz-Diez earned their undergraduate degrees in marketing and communications from Babson College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Ana then went on to earn a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business.

Some direct reports include Candice Bermudez - Development Assistant, Stefania Ianno - Assistant Director of Development. Their manager is Jill A. Anderson, Managing Director. They are on a team with Garrett Diaz-Wheeler - Director of Information Management, Randall Steffen - Technical Director, and Kathy Zappala - HR Manager & Business Associate.
