Kate Laissle

Kate Laissle is currently the Associate Director of Education at Syracuse Stage. Kate has previous experience working as a wigmaster, teaching artist, and puppet artisan. Kate has also worked as a graduate research assistant and wardrobe intern.

Kate Laissle is originally from Chicago, IL. Kate received their BA in Theatre from Ohio University in 2013.

Kate Laissle holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis from Ohio University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from the same school.

They work with and Theorri London - Community Engagement and Education Coordinator. Kate Laissle reports to Joann Yarrow, Director of Community Engagement & Education.
